Apple and Hermès Debut First Radiant Gold Titanium Apple Watch as Luxury Line Expands

Apple and Hermès expand their smartwatch collaboration with a radiant gold titanium Series 12 and new Ultra 4 designs.
Apple and Hermès expand their smartwatch collaboration with a radiant gold titanium Series 12 and new Ultra 4 designs.

Apple and Hermès are taking their long-running smartwatch partnership deeper into luxury territory with the newest Apple Watch Hermès collection, led by the first radiant gold titanium Apple Watch Hermès.

The new finish arrives with the Apple Watch Hermès Series 12, while the rugged Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 4receives its own expanded lineup of premium bands and exclusive faces. Prices in the U.S. start at $1,399 for select Series 12 configurations, while certain Ultra 4 combinations climb well beyond $3,000.

Radiant Gold Comes to Apple Watch Hermès

The centerpiece is the Apple Watch Hermès Series 12 in radiant gold titanium — the first time Apple has offered the Hermès Series 12 in the finish. Apple says it joins the existing exclusive silver titanium option.

One of the signature combinations pairs the gold case with Hermès’ new Noir Satin Clou de Selle band. The black satin band incorporates matching gold-finish hardware and Hermès’ Clou de Selle detail, while an exclusive coordinating watch face completes the look.

It’s a notable shift for a device category traditionally associated with fitness and technology. Apple and Hermès are increasingly treating the watch as both a connected device and a luxury fashion accessory.

Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 4 Goes Even Further

The Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 4 takes a decidedly sportier direction.

One of its biggest additions is the Grand H Titane, a Grade 5 titanium bracelet designed to complement the Ultra’s titanium case. The bracelet includes a built-in extension mechanism allowing it to expand for use over a wetsuit.

That luxury doesn’t come cheap.

Hermès currently lists the 49mm Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 4 with Grand H Titane bracelet at $3,149 in the U.S.

The Ultra 4 collection also includes the Scub’H Diving band, constructed from high-performance rubber with circular openings and a titanium clasp, along with the knitted En Mer band.

Hermès’ Equestrian Heritage Remains Front and Center

The collaboration hasn’t abandoned the design language that made Hermès famous.

The new Rocabar Club band uses bold contrasting colors and an elongated “H” knitted into its three-dimensional pattern. Apple says the design draws inspiration from horse-jumping competitions, maintaining the French fashion house’s deep equestrian connection.

Hermès also describes the collection as spanning everything from evening wear to underwater exploration and equestrian influences.

How Much Does the New Apple Watch Hermès Cost?

The headline $1,399 starting price is accurate, but the final cost depends heavily on the case size and Hermès band selected.

Hermès’ U.S. listings currently include Series 12 configurations around the $1,399-$1,449 range, while premium bracelet combinations can cost considerably more. The Ultra 4 with the Grand H Titane bracelet reaches $3,149.

That makes the latest Apple-Hermès collaboration less about simply owning an Apple Watch and more about turning Apple’s wearable into a genuine luxury accessory.
