Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso Concept: A Gorgeous Four-Door V6 With One Big Question

Alfa Romeo's four-door V6 Cuorerosso concept debuts in Paris. Here's what's confirmed, what isn't, and whether it gets built.

Six concept cars rolled into Paris, and the one with four doors and a V6 stole the show. The Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso concept is a sleek four-door, four-seat sports car with a V6 up front, and it made Stellantis’ Paris preview a lot more interesting.

Alfa Romeo unveiled it as part of a six-concept showcase on the eve of the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Stellantis said the lineup came from Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot. The Italian one still hogged the spotlight.

Not every automaker showed up for the party, either. BMW, for one, pulled out of the Paris Motor Show as its new CEO tightens spending.

What the Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso actually is

The name translates to “red heart,” which is about as Alfa as it gets. The car is a 2+2 layout with four doors and four seats. According to Motor1, it measures 185 inches long, 77 inches wide and 51 inches tall.

Under the skin sits the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 from the current Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Alfa has not announced an output figure, which is a notable gap for a car this tempting.

Alfa also calls the concept “multi-energy.” In plain English, engineers could adapt the design to hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric power. So the V6 is not necessarily the final word.

Specs and details from early reports

Some of the juicier specs come from a single outlet, so treat them with care. Evo reports hybrid assistance, all-wheel drive and a weight of 1,750 kg. It also lists Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, air suspension and steer-by-wire.

Carscoops also adds that the car previews a new design philosophy called “Bellezza Necessaria” and has rear suicide doors. Motor1, however, says only that the car has four doors. The cabin details, in other words, are still coming into focus.

The number everyone wants is missing. Evo floats a power figure above 600 horsepower, but that is the magazine’s own guess.

Alfa has not said a word about it.

Will the Alfa four-door V6 concept reach production?

This is the question underneath every headline. Alfa’s own release says the Cuorerosso is neither a preview of a production model nor a mere styling exercise. Instead, it calls the car a “design manifesto.”

Alfa chose that language carefully. Motor1 says the car almost certainly won’t reach production as shown. Carscoops notes that Alfa has not promised a production model. Evo, meanwhile, calls it a prime candidate for a successor to the Giulia Quadrifoglio, which is the magazine’s own inference.

Stellantis does leave a door open (fitting, for a four-door). It says multi-energy architectures could realize the vision in key market segments. It describes models up to 4.7 meters long with room for Quadrifoglio versions. That is not a build order, but it is not a shrug either.

Here’s the thing for U.S. buyers: the stakes are simple. Alfa’s American lineup is the Giulia and Stelvio, and their Quadrifoglio versions use this same V6. Nobody has confirmed whether any road-going cousin of the Cuorerosso will ever reach American showrooms. Maserati’s dealers know how rough a luxury Italian brand’s U.S. run can get, as Maserati’s reported U.S. sales slump shows.

The reveal also fits a bigger story. Stellantis says the showcase reflects its FaSTLAne 2030 plan, launched in May 2026. CEO Antonio Filosa said, “This event brings our FaSTLAne 2030 strategy to life.” Per ANSA, Chairman John Elkann and Enlarged Europe COO Emanuele Cappellano also presented at the event.

What to watch next

The concept’s official world premiere comes at the Paris Motor Show, which opens to the public after this preview. Keep an eye out for an Alfa statement on production plans, a real power number and any word on a Giulia successor. Alfa has not announced any of that yet.

Paris is not the only place where carmakers are chasing buyers right now. Meanwhile, Volkswagen’s new ID. Tiguan shows how fast the electric side of the market is moving.

For now, Alfa has handed car fans a gorgeous four-door and a very Italian shrug. The Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso may be a manifesto, but plenty of enthusiasts just want a build slot.
